NSFW: Year Two

Hello ya sexy fucks,

Two years ago, I decided to dedicate my time to building the New Society for Wellness. It was the best decision of my life. Many of the benefits of that decision came to realization this year with our team growing, our membership expanding and our adventures getting naughtier.

2018 was wild and deserving of a recap on what our little club for the adventurous was able to accomplish. Here are a few ways your support has helped us grow and continue to build on our mission to spread our message of sex positivity and cannabis health.

2018 Moments

In September, we upgraded the NSFW Clubhouse moving into a 4,000 sqft playground in the West Village. Our new home allowed us to increase the frequency of popular adventures like PlayDate, while giving us a location we could grow into. Featuring 16 themed rooms including a prison cell and Garden of Eden, the space provides the perfect location for our adventures.  If you didn't get a chance to visit our new home, be sure to add a trip to your New Year's Resolution list. It's one you'll definitely have no problem keeping.

In the same month of our opening, we introduced our Nymphs, a team of supporting staff which help keep our parties safe. Dressed in white, Nymphs are led by our Queen of Nymphs, Misha and have become a staple of NSFW Adventures, there to ensure everyone gets to experience a safe, judgement-free space. Charlie’s got angels, Hef has bunnies, we’ve got nymphs.

In June we introduced SendNoobs, an intro event for those new to the play scene. This adventure quickly became one of our most popular, helping over 600 new members learn about the New Society and our commitment to enthusiastic consent, sex positivity and cannabis health.

In April, we hosted our first Consent Con, bringing leaders in the nightlife, sex and relationships together to speak about the importance of consent culture and building better humans after #MeToo. The event received over 3M impressions

We took the party out of the Clubhouse with two major events at House of Yes, All Saynts Day (March) and Bacchus (August). Over 600 costumed-members joined us for these celebrations bringing our wild debauchery to New York's hottest night club.

Through the year, our agency partnerships increased allowing us to bring you events supported by MotorBunny, UberLube, Topstone Products, Dame, Womanizer, We-Vibe, and other great brands in the sex and cannabis.

More importantly, our message spread through dozens of features in top press outlets.

In 2018 NSFW was featured in Bustle, Rolling Stone, Forbes The Washington Post, Vice, Slutever, Fusion TV, Hustler, Playboy, Maxim, Men's Health, The New York Post, NowThis and Metro sharing our sex-positive, cannabis friendly story with millions. We also had our first magazine cover sharing space with the 100 most innovative companies in the world and being called “the Sex Club for the Instagram Generation” in Germany’s Business Punk.

Over the past year 3000+ people walked through our doors attending over 100 parties, workshops and speaker series events designed to increase conversations about sex and cannabis. It’s such a blessing to be able to share this message with so many and I truly want to offer my sincerist thanks to all of you who have been able to support with your attendance.

Now that 2018 is over, it’s time to look ahead at what we are planning for 2019.

Clubhouse Renovations. We’ve slowly updated the Clubhouse each week adding a little more to the space, but in 2019 we plan to complete our redesign of the space, setting the mold for future locations. We’ll be updating you on new additions as they are added including new dungeon gear and art installations.

NSFW x Chris Habana. Designer Chris Habana will be taking over the NSFW Clubhouse in February for a fashion week activation which will include presentations, parties and exclusive experiences for members. Expect conversations and classes focused on the intersection of sex and fashion including heel worship, latex and leather.

NSFW Documentary. In late January, we’ll begin filming of a 8-episode docuseries focused on the stories of members. We’ll be announcing details on how you can be involved if interested.

NSFW TV Show. In 2018 we signed with Gersh Agency for representation in TV, Film and Books. Our first project, a modern take on HBO’s Real Sex is currently being pitched and we hope to see some updates in 2019.

An NSFW Guide to Sex. Filming in January, NSFW Guide will be The Joy of Sex for the Millennial generation. Each chapter in this VOD series will bring our expert educators and adult stars together to create compeling sex ed that will get you off while getting you educated.

NSFW Cannabis. We just signed an exclusive partnership with Cherry Kola farms on the creation of a new strain of cannabis designed for sexual activities. Our first will be a libido enhancing strain perfect for getting you in the mood. Expect more updates on this as we get closer to launch.

NSFW Expansion. In 2019, our goal is to prove that NSFW’s programming and Clubhouse model can exist outside of New York. We’re currently putting together a plan for franchise opportunities and working with a few interested members looking to bring NSFW into their cities. We’re excited to explore expansion and where we can take our unique blend of sex education, cannabis experiences and playtime.

Also, a podcast and a complete overhaul of NSFW Archives to make sex positive and real cannabis health stories available to more people.

That’s all for now.

I’m exhausted just thinking about what’s next.

Thank you again to all of you who have helped make NSFW a possibility.  Not enough thanks can go to our growing team. Your support means we’re able to continue to grow creating more adventures for you to enjoy.

Be sure to join us on New Years as we celebrate 2018 and welcome 2019 with some of New York’s sexiest. Hope to see you there.

Always conspiring,

Chief Conspirator
